The five-day Worthy Farm festival is a musical extravaganza boasting shows from the biggest artists in the world, and a plethora of the nation’s favourite artists.

But the organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that 2026 will be a fallow year (to allow the land to rest and recover) meaning this could your last chance to nab a ticket until 2027.
Millions of people will be vying for a chance to attend the Somerset festival – with estimates of people going up against six million devices. Last year 2.5 million people attempted to get their hands on 135,000 tickets.
So it’s never been more important to be armed with the most up-to-date information and advice to increase your chances.

Advice on securing tickets
Nick Drewe, co-founder of discount platform , offered advice to including to ‘be online and set up 15 minutes before the official sale time’ and to ‘optimise internet connection’.
In order to maximise your chances of making it through the queue, the Glastonbury website recommends you avoid refreshing the page.
‘With the queue-based system, refreshing can actually push you further back, so you’ll need to be patient,’ Nick explained.
‘As difficult as it may be, trust that your place in the queue is secure once you’ve got it.’
The website also reminds fans to not use multiple tabs when in the queue as this could be picked up as ‘suspicious behaviour’.
Other strategies can include coordinating with your six friends, having payment details on hand, and using a wired internet connection.
Nick said: ‘If possible, use a wired connection rather than Wi-Fi for added stability. Any lag or cut-outs during the ticket purchase process could mean the difference between success and disappointment.’
While you’re attempting to get tickets, he advises asking anyone else in the house to hold off streaming or any other internet activity.
‘The fewer devices competing for bandwidth, the smoother your experience will be,’ he explained.
He also reminded fans not to refresh their page. ‘With the queue-based system, refreshing can actually push you further back, so you’ll need to be patient,’ Nick explained.
If all goes well, you’ll be well on your way to Glastonbury 2025 with rumoured headliners including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Green Day, Eminem and more.
