With just a few hours to go until the kick-off of this year’s I’m A Celebrity, there are 10 well-known individuals bracing themselves for three weeks full of Bushtucker trials, an abundance of creepy crawlies, and a diet heavy on rice and beans.

One prominent figure appearing in this year’s lineup is none other than the web star GK Barry, whose real identity is Grace Eleanor Keeling. Armed with her very own podcast, she enjoys a vast fan base across various social media platforms.

On her Saving Grace podcast, she often features famous faces discussing their personal stories and encounters.

Recalling a time when she chatted with former I’m A Celebrity contender Ferne McCann on her podcast a year prior, Grace confessed “there’s no way” that she could endure the show herself.

Discussing the dreaded trials, she described her fears vividly: “If I got put in a coffin with a few rats and cockroaches, I would pass away”, reports OK!.

She sustained her stance, humorously insisting: “I genuinely think my body would go, ‘nah, you’re alright, just leave me here, bury me alive and be done with it.’ There’s no way.”

Grace also conveyed her concerns about the limited food provisions in the camp, as participants are largely restricted to rice and beans.

She disclosed her worries about getting hungry, saying: “When I’m hungry, I become a horrible person, I’d be arguing with everyone in there, just from hunger.”

Throughout her podcast ventures, numerous high-profile celebrities have joined her, namely Alison Hammond, Alan Carr, Coleen Nolan, and Katie Price.

Last mentioned, her podcast flaunts an impressive roster of 490 thousand subscribers, while her social media footprint includes 877 thousand Instagram aficionados and a whopping 3.6 million TikTok followers.

Among the celebrities joining her are McFly’s Danny Jones, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse, Coleen Rooney and radio host Melvin Odoom.

Other famous faces heading to Australia include N-Dubz singer Tulisa, Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall, Loose Women’s Jane Moore, Radio 1 star Dean McCullough and boxing promoter Barry McGuigan.

Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles are also expected to make late entrances into the jungle, bringing the total number of campmates up to 12.
