Social media star GK Barry has reportedly landed her own TV show, just days before entering the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

The 25-year-old, whose real name is Grace Keeling, made a strong impression on the ITV show on Sunday night and has already been voted by fans to take on a notorious Bush Tucker trial.

According to the Daily Mail, ITV bosses are also impressed, with plans for her to host her own show when she returns to the UK. A TV insider revealed: “GK has been on Loose Women and those upstairs liked her, she was so different to the older women and she drew in new viewers.

“So the obvious way forward now is to find her something of her own. It’s so exciting.”

GK Barry, who rose to fame through TikTok and her podcast Saving Grace, had previously admitted that she’s doing the ITV show to boost her career, reports the Express.

She confessed: “I’m going to be honest, I’m not doing this show for the fun. I feel like the people that I’ll meet in there and the possible future jobs that I can get with ITV is the main reason.

“I’d love to do presenting, so I think this is a good step forward,” she admitted. On last night’s show, Grace left viewers concerned following her reaction to being voted for a trial.

Just a day into the new series, presented by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, viewers are already predicting an early exit after her emotional reaction to a challenge.

The public-voted trial, Vile Volcano, aims to test Grace’s endurance. However, with Grace facing a tough time, viewers are urging ITV to revise the format to prevent the same person from participating in consecutive trials.

A fan on X pleaded: “We beg you please let this be the year that you finally listen to us and make it so it’s not the same person shouting in every trial every night it’s not actually entertaining.” Another viewer concurred, saying: “Y’all best not vote GK Barry for every trial like you did Nella Rose.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs Monday-Sunday at 9pm on ITV1.
