Budding Lanarkshire bakers have been invited to apply for the next series of the Great British Bake Off.
The hit Channel 4 show is casting for a landmark 16th series and programme makers are looking for the next batch of bakers to go to the famous white tent.
Season 15, which kicked off last month, is being judged by Paul Hollywood alongside Prue Leith and presented by Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond.
Applicants will need to have a broader baking repertoire than just baking cakes. We all love cake but on the show there is a bread, biscuit and pastry week.
It is important to note though that it is completely okay people haven’t made literally everything! There is always time to practice through the process and everyone has their own baking strengths and weaknesses.
If they can make it to the tent, Lanarkshire bakers will be following in the footsteps of Motherwell teacher Kevin Flynn who made it to the final six in 2022.
