Actress Jennifer Lawrence proudly displayed her baby bump in a sleek Bottega Veneta gownat the 15th Governors Awards in Los Angeles Sunday.
It’s baby number two for the “Hunger Games” star, who shares 2-year-old son Cy with her husband of five years, Cooke Maroney. Last month the couple confirmed they were expecting again.
Lawrence kept the Bottega Veneta theme going throughout, accessorizing her form-fitting brown gown with a $3,736-retail gold Bottega Veneta Knot Clutch, according to People, plus the brand’s gold bling. The look, curated by stylist Jamie Mizrahi, was from the brand’s upcoming pre-fall 2025 collection, which WWD has flagged as “playful, experimental and at times dazzling.”
Fresh off 2023’s “No Hard Feelings,” Lawrence is now set to star in “The Wives,” a murder mystery movie inspired by Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise.
The Governors Awards, known as the honorary Oscars, are bestowed annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Board of Governors to “honor extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement in cinema and exceptional contributions to the state of motion picture arts and sciences,” as described on the Academy’s website.
This year’s honorees were Quincy Jones, who died of pancreatic cancer at age 91, two weeks before he could accept the award announced in June; Bond movie producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wildon; filmmaker Richard Curtis, and casting director Juliet Taylor.
The awards were given out at a star-studded ceremony at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood.
Also gracing the red carpet were the likes of Angelina Jolie, who made a rare appearance with son Knox Jolie-Pitt.
