WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A woman accused of setting another woman on fire has been taken into custody, according to the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office.
Savannah Renee Adams was taken into custody Monday after being charged with attempted second-degree murder and felonious assault.
Deputies responded Sunday to reports of a woman who had been set on fire on Ramsey Mountain Road in Max Meadows.
According to deputies, the victim sustained severe burns on most of her body and was flown to a specialized medical facility for treatment.
