A new bike maintenance stand has been installed and officially opened in Dumfriesshire.
The installation is among the work being carried out by the Lochmaben to Lockerbie Community Action Group project to develop links and connectivity with existing national cycling routes.
The stand next to Kirk Loch Caravan Park in Lochmaben was unveiled by Councillor Stephen Thompson for use by cyclists, and it recognised the support from Nairn Construction, the George Hunter Trust and Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Councillor Thompson said: “I was delighted to unveil the multi-functional bike rack next to Kirk Loch Caravan Park, Lochmaben, on behalf of the George Hunter Trust.
“Cyclists of all ages attended on the day and we were treated to a brief demonstration of how to use the kit and the hanging tools.”
