BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Southwest Virginia Community College said all locations have closed after the campus went into lockdown on Tuesday.
According to the College, Campus Police were told of a possible threat on Nov. 19 and initiated a campus lockdown.
The College says Campus Police, as well as local and state law enforcement, cleared the campus and eventually lifted the lockdown. After the lockdown was lifted, the school decided to close all of their locations early.
