WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – Since Donald Trump’s electoral victory two weeks ago, we’ve been waiting for updates on a pathway forward in his so-called hush money case.

Now, after the former president, now president-elect, was found guilty on 34 felony charges this summer, we’ve been awaiting a sentencing in this case. The latest filings were due November 19.

But now there has been some cold water thrown on this. The Manhattan D.A., Democrat Alvin Bragg, saying today, (Tuesday), he is not in favor of dismissing this case outright, but acknowledges this unprecedented situation and the need to balance the fact that Donald Trump is the president-elect.

But we also have a jury of his peers, twelve people that found him guilty on these 34 felony counts.

So Alvin Bragg and the rest of his prosecutors racking their brains for pathway forward in this unprecedented situation and bringing up non dismissal options. That could include freezing this case until Donald Trump is out of office.

Now this is up to the judge, Juan Merchan, in this case that Donald Trump and his team are calling this a total and decisive definitive victory. But we are still waiting on Judge Merchan to make a decision on how we will proceed in this case.
