Celtic Women will be looking to pull of a major shock when they visit Chelsea in the Women’s Champions League this week.

The Hoops fell to their third successive Champions League defeat against the Women’s Super League holders last midweek, going down 2-1. Despite being outplayed for large chunks of the game at Parkhead, the green and white shirts nevertheless draw encouragement from the manner in which they were able to keep themselves in the match. Murphy Agnew gave Celtic the lead against the run of play before two goals in four minutes turned the game in Chelsea’s favour, with Maka Hamano levelling before Ashley Lawrence put them in the front. The lead that was never really under any significant threat.

The Glasgow giants have lost all three of their Champions League fixtures in the group of death (Group B), which also features FC Twente and Real Madrid. But hope springs eternal and supporters can get behind the players from their sofas. Here is how.
