Bargain hunters can currently take advantage of the numerous UK sites offering early Black Friday deals, despite there still being 10 days until November 29.

Wowcher’s latest offer could see tech enthusiasts bag an Apple MacBook, Ninja airfryer, or Sony PS5 console for less than £20. It’s part of Wowcher’s ‘Ultimate’ Mystery Tech deal where a selection of big brand named devices, appliances, and accessories are included in its raffle-style deal.

For those unfamiliar with its notorious pot luck sale, Wowcher shoppers can enter the sale from £9.99 (there is also a £19.99 ticket) to have a shot at getting one of the big items, reports the Mirror.

All shoppers will ‘win’ a product, after paying an entry. The catch is that you won’t know what you’ll get until after you pay and the draw closes at 23:59 on February 21, 2025 – if it doesn’t sell out before then.

For those who opt for the cheaper £9.99 sale, there’s the chance to win its ‘Tier one products’ which include an Amazon Echo Show 5, Apple Watch Series 6 and an Xbox Series S.

Meanwhile, the pricier £19.99 ‘Tier two products’ include a pair of Sky Blue Apple AirPods Max, a Nintendo Switch, 13.3-inch Apple MacBook Air, a Sony PS5 Digital Edition, and a Drone.

The odds of bagging an item worth hundreds of pounds aren’t guaranteed, but it’s not entirely out of the question, as Wowcher dubs it the ‘ultimate surprise’. As it stands, over 600 shoppers have snapped up the deal since its launch on November 14, with 18 people purchasing it in just a few hours on Tuesday morning, November 19.

However, there is a clever way to get a sneak peek at how many items of each product are dispatched, which shoppers can view by clicking ‘see more details’ on the listing. This reveals a breakdown of what each shopper will receive.

For example, with 15,645 items to distribute in this specific draw, 1700 Tier 1 customers will receive an Amazon Bryte Touch Moon Light worth £16.99 (still a £7 profit after deducting the £9.99 entry fee), while 530 customers will receive a DesireTech Laptop Sleeve, and 1,200 shoppers will receive a combined Bedside Lamp and Bluetooth speaker gadget. When it comes to the larger items (which attract many people), only one Apple Watch Series 6, Echo Show 5, and Dyson V8 vacuum will be dispatched to a lucky shopper.

Moving onto Tier 2, the chances for the big-ticket items are similar, with only one PS5 console, Apple MacBook Air and one pair of Apple AirPods Max being sent out. However, ten shoppers will receive a Daewoo Hot Water Dispenser and 1,600 will receive a desk heater – you can see the full list here.

While it’s crucial to bear in mind that there’s no certainty about what customers will receive at their doorstep after purchasing a Mystery Wowcher ticket, it can provide an exciting opportunity to try and secure a massive item for significantly less.

It’s worth noting that if you spot an item in the Wowcher Mystery Sale and really want it, many are featured in other sales – although this obviously means paying considerably more for them with the assurance you’ll actually receive it.

For instance, Dyson’s Black Friday sale is offering the V8 Cordless Vacuum for £100 less than usual at £229, while the PS5 Digital Console is available at EE for £379.
