I’m A Celebrity viewers have blasted the latest Bushtucker trial as “impossible”, after Dean and GK Barry tackled the challenging task.
Dean and GK were ecstatic about teaming up for the Down in the Dumps trial following a public vote, with GK expressing her delight: “Ah, I’m so happy that I’m with you, ok that’s fine! I’ve got a mate,” and fellow campmate Melvin exuding confidence in their success: “They’re gonna come back with 10 stars, guaranteed! “.
The optimism started to wane once they faced the trial setup. The task involved a two-tiered box, with Dean on top attempting to retrieve gold keys from hell holes.
Down below, GK Barry was tasked with using those keys to unlock stars; however, she had to do so while water rapidly filled his chamber, prompting claims from fans about the trial being “impossible”.
One disgruntled viewer tweeted: “The trial is ridiculous! ! ! Its impossible to do #ImACeleb,” and another questioned: “Does anyone feel like that trial was physcially impossible for the second person? #imaceleb #imacelebrity.”
A third wrote: “this challenge is impossible? not being able to breathe is horrid #ImACeleb,” while a fourth expressed: “Tbf they did try, but it seemed like an impossible task. No room to move freely and impossible to get the right key for each lock. 1 minute per lock!”
Another added their criticism, sharing: “I’m sorry some of the trials are borderline impossible, it would’ve been hard enough only having one person on the bottom already with the keys and trying to hold their breath in the water full of animals #ImACeleb.”
Other viewers fervently hoped GK Barry and Dean would not be selected for another trial.
One fan implored the audience: “Can we all agree not to vote for GK or Dean? We need an interesting trial. The last two have been naff. #ImACeleb,” as someone else shared: “Please vote for anyone other than GK and Dean tonight for the love of God.”
Another viewer urged: ” VOTE FOR TULISA OR SOMEONE OTHER THAN DEAN AND GK #ImACeleb,” and another comment came through: “Ok gang… Dean and GK Barry let’s not vote for them again. It’s not even funny that they’re failing. #imaceleb #imacelebrity.”
