There’s been multiple offers online as Black Friday edges even closer, set to take place on Friday November 29. However loads of online retailers have already slashed many prices.

One of those is Amazon, who has another unexpected discount ahead of the official Black Friday sales. If you act quickly, you can currently snap up two Echo Pop devices for less than the price of one according to reports in the Mirror.

You can check out the deal by clicking here. Essentially, you’re getting one of these smart Alexa-powered devices for free. So how does the deal work, how much will it cost and when does it end?

To claim, simply visit Amazon’s website and add two Echo Pop speakers to your online shopping basket. They usually retail at £44.99 each but if you then input the hidden ECHOPOP code at the checkout, the total price for the pair of devices will be slashed to just £35.98 (excluding delivery).

It’s an excellent deal but Amazon has confirmed that it will expire at 5pm on November 20, so there’s only a limited window to take advantage.

What is the Echo Pop?

The Echo Pop, Amazon’s latest addition to its smart device family since its launch last May, is catching eyes with its array of hues like Lavender Bloom.

This nifty gadget boasts a bespoke front-facing speaker that delivers expansive audio. Alexa is at the heart of the Echo Pop, ready to set timers, read the news, manage lighting, and even predict the weather with just a voice prompt.

It’s not just about convenience, as the Echo Pop can narrate audiobooks and update you on your Amazon deliveries.

For those struggling with Wi-Fi dead zones, the Echo Pop offers a solution if you have an Eero router. It doubles as a compact Wi-Fi booster, seamlessly integrating with Eero systems to extend coverage.

“Echo Pop is powered by the Amazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor and comes with Eero Built-in, which enables the device to add up to 1,000 square feet of coverage to an existing Eero WiFi network, packing even more value into its compact size,” Amazon boasted at its grand unveiling.

Amazon isn’t alone in rolling out tempting Black Friday bargains. Argos has cut prices on Apple iPhones, Sky is touting its “lowest-ever” TV package rates, and Virgin Media is offering free broadband deals.
