Amanda Holden has revealed that her daughter is “super upset” with her after spending time away from the family home.
The presenter was discussing her daughter Hollie on the Heart breakfast show alongside Jason King (JK) this morning, November 21. Amanda, 53, said she had returned home after a busy day rehearsing with celebrity friend Alan Carr for the Royal Variety Performance before getting into bed with Hollie.
However, Amanda said that in the brief space of an hour, her daughter had become “super upset” with her and confessed that she didn’t know what had caused it.
She said: “I saw my daughter for an hour last night, she was super upset with me. I mean she’s upset with me about something anyway every day.
“But you know when you’ve only got that hour to sort of go ‘I love you, okay yes I’m sorry for…you know, I don’t know what I did wrong last night to be honest, she’s at that age.
“I got into bed with her for an hour, I gave her nice tickles, that’s what she likes, nice tickles on her arm. And then she had a row with me about something and you just go out of the room going ‘I rushed home, I’m knackered myself, I just want to go to bed and I’ve got a teenager.”
Amanda and Hollie enjoyed an action packed evening on Monday night as they attended the UK premiere of Wicked at The Royal Festival Hall in London.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge showed off her incredible figure in a skintight latex jumpsuit but the star was left red-faced after suffering a wardrobe malfunction.
The mum-of-two said that her jumpsuit was “squelchy” as she made her way through the audience at the start of the screening before laughing about the incident with JK.
She said: “Oh my gosh, I was poured into that suit last night. I had to have, and I can’t use the word of the potion that was put in the suit to make sure I could squish into it.
“It wasn’t talcum powder, it was a lubricant, and it was squeezed into my outfit and then I was squished, poured into it.
“Then of course, the minute you start getting warm, your own sweat and glow adds to that. So I was in a very squelchy, but warm [outfit], last night but probably the only one who was dressed for the weather.”
Amanda and her husband, record producer Chris Hughes, share two daughters; Alexa ‘Lexi’ Louise Florence and Hollie Rose. Tragically, their son Theo, born February 2011, was stillborn 7 months into Amanda’s pregnancy.
