The parade registration deadline has been extended until Friday, November 29th. The Princeton Parade is scheduled for Friday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m.

PRINCETON, W.Va. – Tis’ the season where the elves are hard at work putting the finishing touches on all the children’s gifts this holiday season.

St. Nick took some time to stop by WVVA @ Noon with Joshua Bolden and Jeffrey Hoole to chat about his participation in the upcoming Christmas Parade for the City of Princeton on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the downtown area.

According to the city manager for Princeton, more than three dozen floats and participants are expected to take part in the time-honored tradition.

And the city is still taking float participants, the cost to participate is $25, find more information on how to take part on the city’s Facebook page.

If you cannot make it to downtown this year, the city providing a livestream of the festivities this year hosting the stream is Chuck Mathena Center’s and Chuck Mathena Monday’s Candace Wilson alongside our own Joshua Bolden.

Featured guests include Elvis performing holiday tunes in addition to his own in the town square.

2024’s Grand Marshals include WVU’s 70th Mountaineer, Braden Adkins and longtime Mercer County educator, Allen Kade.

No entry fee for school groups. Anyone wishing to be a parade sponsor can sign up today.

Sponsor’s name and/or logo will be included in all marketing materials, banners, and featured on the live stream video.
