While many see it as an opportunity to take a pause on their weight loss journey, there are those who choose to step up their efforts amidst the seasonal feasting.

Now, a popular weight loss coach has taken to TikTok to share his top tips for dropping 10lbs before the holiday season kicks in. Luke Mitchell, a personal trainer with a hefty following of 241,000, outlined his strategy in a video titled, ‘How I’d lose 10lbs before Christmas.’

The fitness guru states: “If I wanted to lose at least 10lbs before Christmas, these are the exact steps I would take.”

He prompts viewers, saying: “But I want to know if you’re an action taker and if you’re going to follow this advice. First thing I would do is be realistic with what’s going to happen over the next couple of months.”

Stressing the significance of such an achievement, he further adds: “10lbs might not seem like a lot on the grand scheme of things, but that is f***ing amazing over a 10-week period and you should be super super happy with that.”

He recommends rallying support, adding: “Second thing I would do is I would surround myself with people that support me and get rid of the people that do not support me, because they’re going to bring you back down to their level and sabotage you from reaching your goals.”

His third and critical piece of advice was to ensure proper support to achieve one’s goals. He said: “So I’ve got accountability and when I do fall off my truck, that someone is there to pick me up when they go and get stuff.”

The fitness guru received a stream of supportive thumbs-up emojis in response.
