JB Gill and Lauren Oakley have been hit with a devastating blow one night before the next live Strictly Come Dancing’live show.

The seven remaining couples will return to the ballroom on Saturday (November 23) to try impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsy Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke as well as the viewers watching at home.

Karen Carney, Briony May Williams and Dominic Skinner appeared on Friday’s (November 22) episode of Strictly spin-off show It Take Two to share who they think could be in danger this weekend.

Sitting down with host Janette Manrara, they each shared who they think will leave with both Dominic and Briony picking JB and Lauren and Karen choosing Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał.

The standards are steadily rising as we near the second half of the season, with Sarah Hadland, Chris McCausland and Tasha Ghouri continuing to impress, taking up the top three spots on the Strictly leaderboard over the weekend.

This weekend, Montell Douglas and Johanness Radebe will bounce back from last week’s dread dance-off again Wynne Evans and Katya Jones by taking on the Quickstep to Get Happy by Ella Fitzgerald.

Sarah and her partner Vito Coppola will dance the Rumba to Chains by Tina Arena and Tasha will perform an Ameican Smooth to Someone You Loved by Lewis Capadli with Aljaž Škorjanec.

Chris and Dianne Buswell have been given the Pado Doble for week 10 and the song choice has been revealed as El Gato Montes by Manuel Panella. Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas will dance the Foxtrot to Stand By Me by Ben E. King.

JB and Lauren will perform the Charleston to Yes Sir! That’s My Baby by Firehouse Five Plus Two and Pete and Jowita will try and keep out of the bottom two by dancing the Tango to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey, Phil Collins.
