How to clean your microwave
Start by dissolving one dishwasher tablet in a microwaveable cup or mug of hot water. Stir until the tablet is fully dissolved, creating a powerful cleaning solution.
Place the cup with the dissolved tablet inside the microwave after moving the internal plate to the sink, which will only require a quick clean to regain its shine. Set the microwave to medium power and heat for five minutes. The steam from the solution will loosen grease and grime from the walls and ceiling of your microwave.
Once the timer goes off, don’t rush to open the door. Let the steam linger inside for a few minutes. This extra time allows the solution to break down any stuck-on dirt and makes the finishing touches even easier.
After the steam has worked its magic, open the microwave door and remove the cup. Grab a damp cloth or sponge, and simply wipe down the interior to leave your appliance in sparkling condition.
