Danny Jones has been hinting he might just be “fooling” I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers by pretending to get on with a divisive fellow contestant.

Body language expert Judi James has shared her thoughts after watching the dynamics between the McFly heartthrob and ex-boxer Barry McGuigan unfold. She picked up on some rather telling signs that suggest Mcfly’s Danny could secretly be over it, despite putting on a friendly front.

Judi observed that both men are vying for top dog status, especially notable when Danny apparently called Barry out, labelling this moment as “a powerful head-to-head in terms of hierarchy.”

She’s shared her viewers on their differing vibes towards Dean McCullough too as she says Barry’s “all critical” while Danny’s busy playing Mr Nice Guy.

It turns out Danny may have been faking his patience with Dean, who riled up the jungle squad by costing them half the cupcakes won by Melvin Odoom when he snuck in some naughty contraband tea, reports the Mirror.

Chatting to Paddy Power Games post-show, Judi let slip: “The most seismic rift came when Danny tackled Barry. It was a small moment but a powerful head-to-head in terms of hierarchy. These two men are both potential leaders in the camp and Barry only had his leadership wings clipped thanks to his poor performance in the first two tasks.”

“Barry’s patience with Dean seemed to be wearing thin compared to the others. When Dean was sent off for his Lethal Lab trial, Danny gave him a tight hug, but Barry distanced himself from the group in what appeared to be an act of rejection. As Dean returned with four stars, Barry used his mug as an ‘expression shield’, seemingly hiding his face behind it while the rest feigned celebration.”

Ms James further noted that Danny stood by Barry “in a gesture of unity”, but she observed that “his tactical approach towards Dean seems more about motivation and encouragement, aiming to get him to win stars for their meals, whereas Barry seems to be growing critical.”

The expert also pointed out: “This led to a moment of conflict between the two men when Dean’s tea bag contraband cost the camp half their cupcakes.”

“In the first clear sign of discord, Danny asserted his authority over a visibly irritated Barry, telling him ‘He’s doing the right thing’ as Dean left to surrender his tea. Danny’s intense gaze and subtle eyebrow flicker as he said this appeared to be a warning signal to Barry to back down.”

She dished the dirt, saying: “But Danny is also appearing to be masking some inner lack of patience with Dean. When Dean became red faced with laughter over his tea stunt Danny performed a masking laugh, bending forward to hide his face as he ‘doubled up with laughter’ in an over-kill ritual. Danny is clearly a long-term strategist though and knows encouragement and motivational talks might get more stars from Dean than any criticism.”

In another juicy bit from the jungle, I’m a Celeb viewers were absolutely gobsmacked by a grim confession from singer Danny. Both his campmates and those watching at home raised eyebrows after the ex-McFly star’s bombshell.

In a heart-to-heart with YouTube star GK Barry (Grace), Danny dropped the clanger: “I’ve not changed my boxers that I had a snake on..” Grace was visibly shocked and didn’t hesitate to give him a piece of advice. She warned Danny: “Before you go back to your wife, you’re gonna need to disinfect! ” Fans were quick to hit up X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their shock at Danny’s overshare.

One user exclaimed: “Can’t believe Danny is still wearing the same boxers four days later.” Another was equally flabbergasted: “Can’t get over Danny not changing his underwear since he got into camp.” And a third commented: “Danny, you’ve been in there 3/4 days and had a snake in your pants and you’re still wearing them? The f**k?”
