Police shot a 19-year-old man in the leg in the Bronx on Friday afternoon, police sources told the Daily News.

Officers responded to White Plains Road near Lafayette Ave. in Soundview around 3:10 p.m., cops said.

According to police sources, the 19-year-old was in a parking lot outside a large housing complex. Cops pulled up in an unmarked car, at which point the suspect dropped into a “shooter’s stance.”

It was not immediately clear how many gunshots police fired or if the suspect actually blasted any shots of his own at the officers.

A firearm reportedly was recovered from the scene.

The wounded man was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.

According to police sources, the suspect was on supervised release for a gun charge and was also the victim of a shooting a year ago.
