(CNN) – It’s official: one of the country’s most iconic brands has changed its name.
Campbell’s Soup shareholders have agreed to allow the company to drop “soup” from its corporate moniker.
It will be known as The Campbell’s Company.
Leaders said there’s more to Campbell’s these days than just soup and soup is now a smaller part of the company’s sales.
Campbell’s owns a variety of snacks and foods, including Goldfish, Pepperidge Farm and Snyder’s of Hanover.
