WASHINGTON — McDonald’s is kicking off 2025 with a new menu platform focused on affordable options.
The McValue menu will be available nationwide starting Jan. 7, featuring more ways to save and the extension of its $5 meal deals.
What’s on the McDonald’s McValue menu?
One of the key highlights is a “buy one, add one for $1” deal, which lets customers mix-and-match their favorite menu items. Customers can buy one full-priced menu item from the McValue menu and add another item of their choice from that lineup for just $1.
Breakfast buy one, add one for $1 items:
- Sausage McMuffin
- Sausage Biscuit
- Sausage Burrito
- Hash Browns
Lunch/Dinner buy one, add one for $1 items:
- 6-pc. Chicken McNuggets
- Double Cheeseburger
- McChicken
- Small Fries
The fast food giant also confirmed its popular $5 value meal is being extended until at least Summer 2025 and will be part of the McValue menu. McDonald’s introduced the deal in June after a disappointing first quarter. The $5 Meal Deal includes a McDouble burger or McChicken sandwich, small fries, a four-piece Chicken McNuggets and a small drink.
“So, get ready for a new year, new menu,” McDonald’s said Friday as part of its McValue announcement.
When will the McValue menu be available?
The company added that there will also be certain local deals and in-App offers when the McValue menu launches Jan. 7, 2025.
“When it comes to value, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all,” said Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA. “We’ve worked closely with our franchisees to create a new platform that will let our customers define value on their own terms.”
While the $5 value meal helped boost sales, McDonald’s faced another crisis in October after an outbreak of E. coli food poisoning tied to onions on its Quarter Pounder hamburgers. The company said last week it’s investing $100 million to bring customers back to its stores.
