BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -As Thanksgiving approaches, organizations like Bluefield Union Mission are reaching out to their communities to offer support to those who may be struggling.
On Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, November 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. people can sign up for take-home bags that will include turkeys and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal that can be cooked at home.
On Thanksgiving Day, Bluefield Union Mission will be serving a hot meal at 11 a.m.
Although this organization is prepared for Thanksgiving, they are always accepting donations.
