A 15-year-old boy was stabbed and wounded on a subway train in Queens Monday afternoon, police said.
The victim was knifed in the stomach on a Manhattan-bound M train about 12:30 p.m.
He got off the train at the Court Square-23rd St. station and flagged down police outside.
Medics took him to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan in stable condition.
The attacker stayed on the train and is being sought by cops.
Despite the stabbing, assaults are down 3% in the subway this year, with 512 incidents compared to 528 by this time last year. The overall subway crime rate is down 6% so far this year compared to last.
