I’m A Celebrity fans have been glued to their screens as the 12 campmates from this year’s series continue to captivate viewers from the Australian jungle.

The first batch of ten contestants were joined by Reverend Richard Coles and Maura Higgins last week, with Maura quickly becoming a fan favourite once again after her stint on Love Island.

It appears she’s gained a significant advantage just days after her arrival, as she’s now the favourite to win this year’s series, leaving her fellow campmates far behind.

According to data from Fruityslots.com‘s Supercomputer, Maura has a 29% chance of winning the show. McFly star Danny Jones is in second place with a 17% chance of becoming King of the jungle, while internet sensation GK Barry is in third with 14%.

At the other end of the spectrum, Strictly star Oti Mabuse and Loose Women’s Jane Moore are the least likely to win, with 5% and 4% chances respectively, making them the most likely to be voted off first.

A spokesperson for Fruityslots.com commented: “Over the years, I’m A Celebrity and reality stars have been a perfect match, with Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson recently winning the jungle crown. Now, our Supercomputer suggests that a former Love Island star might be next in line,” reports OK!.

“Maura Higgins, already a fan favorite from Love Island, is projected to go far this season. But with strong competition from McFly’s Danny Jones and TikTok sensation GK Barry, it’s no easy journey ahead. As the celebrities still face two more weeks of camp life and notorious Bushtucker Trials, the race is wide open.

“Only time will tell who has the resilience and determination to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle this season.”

Maura and Richard burst onto the show last week and were immediately set a secret mission to pretend that the Jungle Junkyard was a terrible experience when in reality they were being pampered and treated like royalty.

The pair were awarded with a double bed, a bath, a cooker and a mini fridge full of yummy treats and had to make out they were suffering each time they saw the other campmates.

Despite the other camp rumbling them, the unlikely duo took part in a Bushtucker eating trial and successfully managed to win the entire camp a huge jungle buffet.

The research was carried out by Fruityslots.com. I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX followed by I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked after the main show on ITV2.
