PRINCETON, W.Va. -Although it’s not Christmas yet, it’s never too early to start making sweet holiday treats.

On November 24 in Princeton, families gathered for Auntie Ash’s Fall Kids Party to learn how to make hot cocoa bombs and candy apples under the direction of the event’s organizer, Ashlee Spencer.

The party included music, a buffet, and lots of chocolate and fun toppings for the treats.

Although this is the first event put on by Spencer, she says it won’t be the last, with plans to have a Grinch themed event in December.

“I work at Spencer’s Catering and Carry-Out, which is ran by me and my mom, and we’re located in Northfork, West Virginia, and I just decided to have a free event for the kids, [to] give them something to come out and do and learn a new skill. It’s not only for the kids, but the adults as well, because I had adults message me and ask if they could come and learn,” says Spencer.
