GARDNER, W.Va. – The Pikeview Lady Panthers made it back to the state tournament last season after missing it in 2023, but to get back to Charleston in 2025, they’re going to have to hurdle some uphill battles.

Two main pieces are gone from last year in head coach Tracy Raba, who went to Shady Spring, and Cat Farmer, who now plays at Concord. To fill those roles, Pikeview hired former Bluefield head coach Tony Mallamaci and have a few up-and-coming players to fill the point guard spot. They’ll also have tougher competition in Class AAA with the likes of Greenbrier East and Princeton moving down from Class AAAA.

However, the optimism from the team comes that they’ll be returning seven seniors including the likes of Haley Justice and Riley Meadows.
