WNBA star Brittney Griner and her wife Cherelle took to social media to give the public a first look at their bouncing baby boy.
The couple, who welcomed their first child, Bash Griner, in July, posted a series of photos to Instagram on Tuesday, featuring them and the newborn in a nursery decked out by Crate & Kids.
“Bash may have the best room in the house,” Brittney wrote in a caption promoting a partnership for the décor. “We love every detail, from his amazing book wall collection to his comfortable crib! He sleeps like a big man in his room alone.”
Wed in 2019, the pair announced in April they were expecting their first child with a social media post of sonogram photos.
Griner, 33, shared the news of baby Bash’s birth with CBS Sports in July, ahead of her competing in the 2024 Olympics.
“He is amazing,” she said at the time. “They said as soon as you see them, everything that you thought mattered just goes out the window. That’s literally what happened.”
The Phoenix Mercury center made international headlines in February 2022 when she was arrested at a Moscow airport after authorities said they found vape canisters with cannabis oil inside her luggage. Brittney was detained in a Russian penal colony for nearly 10 months before being released through a prisoner swap.
