Celtic are looking to make it three in a row at home in the Champions League with Club Brugge heading to the east end of Glasgow.

And another Hoops victory will push Brendan Rodgers and his men a step closer to securing their place in the competition beyond the current league phase. Celtic enjoyed an epic European night at Parkhead with RB Leipzig put to the sword last time out. Can the Scottish champions repeat that and move to the brink of qualification for the knockout stages? Or do the Belgian side pack enough of a punch to set them back and put a real dent in their European ambitions?

Record Sport’s top team are all in agreement when it comes to the outcome of the big showdown.

This could be a classic. Celtic and Club Brugge both have goals in them and are in hot form in front of the target. Brendan Rodgers’ side will need to produce a Leipzig-level of performance to get the job done and can do it in a Parkhead thriller.

Celtic have Champions League momentum and the bit between their teeth in Europe after dismantling RB Leipzig last time out. The Belgians won’t know what’s hit them when they walk out at Parkhead and will struggle to cope with the intensity of Brendan Rodgers’ side. Expect Nicolas Kuhn and Kyogo to get on the scoresheet.

This Celtic team have now found their feet in the Champions League. Celtic Park is an intimidating place and one where Celtic are riding a crest of a wave. Club Brugge are a decent side but I think Celtic will have too much for them with Kyogo Furuhashi again proving instrumental.

This will be a different mental test for the Hoops players from the RB Leipzig fixture given the fact they will be expected to win this one following the stunning victory against the Germans.

But it’s another examination Brendan Rodgers and his troops can pass.

Strap in for another pulsating night at Parkhead but don’t expect the Belgians to be a pushover. They’ve already shown they can win on the road in the Champions League this season and their home victory over Aston Villa also serves as a warning. But Celtic have found a new gear in Europe especially at home and they should have enough quality to grab another three points.

The Hoops are free-scoring right now and if they can plug into the Parkhead energy again, they can charge off towards another huge result.
