Police have issued a ‘come and get me’ challenge to a driver after a car was seized this week after it was spotted driving without a valid licence of insurance near a Scots primary school.

Community officers Marc Stirling and Lynsey Scott, acting on intelligence, sought to trace a man that was driving the Renault Clio without a licence or insurance in the Bonnybridge area, near to a local primary school at pick-up time.

They observed the car being driven, where the driver then made off at speed and was driving in a dangerous manner.

The motor was later found abandoned by a member of the public.

In an update on the force’s Forth Valley Division Facebook page, they said: “We would like to thank the public for contacting our local officers regarding the location of the vehicle which has now been seized.

“To the driver, you are welcome to collect your seizure notice from Larbert Police Station at any time.”
