The executive director for Bluefield’s Economic Development Authority, Jim Spencer says 26 local businesses will be open on Nov. 30 for shopping as well as four pop-up locations for vendors to sell goods.
Spencer says local entrepreneurs will be set up in the Alorica-Intuit building in downtown, The Clover Club, Downtown Merchants and youth entrepreneurs will be set up in the Craft Memorial Library.
“Usually we’ve had two, last year we went to three and this year it’s four for the pop-up, so it’s just a great time. You’ve got not only the existing businesses but you’ve got other that are coming in and setting up,” said Spencer. “Everybody is feeding off of each other so it’s a great event.”
Spencer says he expects a variety of vendors to be participating and encourages the public to shop local.
