(CNN) – Now you can do something else while singing in the shower… you can empty your bladder.
According to the Urology Department at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, there is little risk associated with peeing while shampooing your hair and body.
The doctors said the urine goes straight down the drain, and if it happens to touch the body, the pee will be washed away by the water.
Most men probably already use the shower as a make-shift urinal, but doctors said women should not have concerns about straining muscles by peeing standing up.
The researchers stress, however, that people should not pee while in baths or hot tubs because warm, stagnant water is full of fungi and bacteria.
