LINDSIDE, W.Va. – The last time James Monroe brought home a Girls Basketball state championship was when they won back-to-back titles in 2001 and 2002.
After a strong appearance in states in 2023 and some major experience playing in Charleston for many players on this year’s team, they think that could play a huge factor in not just going back but winning it all.
Although the team is moving up from Single to Double-A this season, Head coach Angela Mann says the team is used to this due to their familiarity with playing better teams in years past.
