Heart Radio’s Breakfast Show star Amanda Holden opened up about having a ‘crush’ on former football manager Jurgen Klopp when comedian Alex Horne brought up his wish to host him on Taskmaster.
The 53 year old swiftly chimed in and said: “Amazing! I used to have a bit of a crush on Jurgen Klopp, my husband never understood it, especially because I’m an Evertonian.”
Going into details, the presenter added: “But he doesn’t get it because of his teeth, he’s like how can you, you know, with a man with that smile? I think there’s something about him!”
She also dished on her surprising fancy for certain celebrities during her stint on ‘Amanda Holden and Alan Carr’s Italian Job’ last year. In response to Alans questioning about her “weird crush”, Amanda couldnt resist sharing more. She said: “Don’t get me started,” and dropped that she found business tycoon Lord Sugar attractive.
Alan was taken aback and asked, “Really?” Amanda, confidently owning her taste in men, further confessed her enduring attraction to Hollywood icon Jack Nicholson, and said: “I like someone that makes me laugh, I’ve been laughed into bed.”, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Married to record producer Chris Hughes, Amanda is mother to two daughters, Lexi, aged 18, and Hollie, aged 12.
The presenter has been open about what makes her relationship thrive, emphasising the importance of laughter. Speaking to Hello!
Magazine, she said: “Chris is very funny and errs on the side of lightness. We can make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives.”
Amanda also praised that although Chris isn’t the most traditionally romantic, his thoughtful actions speak volumes like cleaning her car or ensuring she’s always comfortable. She said: “He’s a proper bloke who looks after me. I’m a strong, opinionated woman, but he helps steer the Mandy ship.”
