Stirling Albion will be hoping not to be hit by the new manager bounce on their Scottish Cup third round trip to Forfar Athletic.
League Two bottom dogs Loons will have new managers Jim Weir and Gavin Price making their bow in front of the home fans.
The former Elgin pair have been forced to wait for their opener with all of the League Two matches called off due to Storm Bert.
Stirling’s trip to Bonnyrigg – which also fell to the weather –will now take place next Tuesday (December 3).
But the Binos did manage to get some action with a 2-1 midweek Stirlingshire Cup win over East Stirlingshire.
Goals from James Graham and Cooper Knox had the Binos well on the way to victory, before a well-worked strike from Sean Brown brought Lowland League Shire back into the game in the latter stages. Stirling manager Alan Maybury was pleased with the run-out ahead of a busy run of three games in a week.
Speaking to Stirling Albion media manager Matt Reid, the Irishman said: “I thought we did a lot of things really well and it was a good opportunity to get some boys match minutes.
“We had a bit of a mix, one or two who have been playing regularly just played 45 and a few who needed a game to bring back to fitness. We created a lot of opportunities and had the chance to score a few more but we just made it difficult at the end.
“The young players did great – Cooper Knox and Harrison Howe were on, Ruaridh Cant did well at the back.
“The game tonight was part of the preparation for Saturday, making sure everyone is up to speed and gets through the game, chomping at the bit to stay in the team or using it to get into the side.”
The Binos will be hoping to make it two wins from two against Forfar this season after coming from behind in their only league clash this season.
Bradley Rodden’s spot kick had the Loons in front early at Forthbank, but Stirling fought back to lead at half-time courtesy of goals from Erik Sula and Ricky Waugh, before a second-half red card for Bailey Dall made things difficult.
