Officers in West Lothian are carrying out patrols in the Broxburn Bing area after reports of anti-social behaviour by off road bikers.
Taking to social media, police confirmed on Friday November 22 they were executing investigations following concerns from locals.
They added officers visited addresses to speak with people who are known to frequent and illegally use the area without granted permission.
Police will continue their inquiries throughout the coming days.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland West Lothian said: “On Friday 22nd November, officers conducted patrols in the Broxburn Bing area to address the numerous reports of anti-social behaviour caused by off road bikers.
“Officers also attended at addresses to speak with person’s identified as frequenting this area and are ILLEGALLY using this area without the permission of the land owners.
“Further days of action are planned and those whom are identified as utilising the Bing on unregistered motorbikes will be prosecuted and have their bikes seized.
