Rangers and St Johnstone fans will receive a double treat on Sunday for their Scottish Premiership clash.

Not only will they get to crack open their Christmas chocolate calendars on December 1 but they can watch their beloved sides from the comfort of their own homes. Isn’t the festive period magical? Gers were certainly spellbinding on Thursday night as they won 4-1 in the French Riviera against a befuddled Nice. Philippe Clement’s bold switch up front, withCyriel Dessers out for Hamza Igamane, proved a masterstroke as the Moroccan bagged a brace.

The Gers now turn their attention back to the league as fans will look on with interest to see if the Jekyll and Hyde act drags on. St Johnstone meanwhile are coming of the back of a much-needed 1-0 victory over Kilmarnock at McDiarmid Park. Young Makenzie Kirk got the winner and halted a three-game losing streak for the Perth side. Now, can they spoil the party for the visiting Gers and their Govan gaffer?
