The BBC Strictly Come Dancing spoiler for Musicals Week has been unveiled, sparking a wave of outrage. A blog dedicated to the pre-recorded BBC results, which are filmed on Saturday nights and broadcast on Sunday, discloses who gets eliminated each week.

We have decided not to reveal the quarter-final results, but it’s safe to say that viewers are far from pleased. One disgruntled fan took to Twitter, posting: “Absolute disgrace. Like I’m sorry but what is it?”

Another vented: “Another example of the public voting for their favourites from an ‘Entertainment’ perspective and not from how good or bad they are at dancing. As we get closer to the end it’s clear now who the favourites are and that isn’t always the better dancers.”

A third commented: “I’m really shocked about one of the couples in tonight’s dance off especially when they’ve been so consistent since Week 1. Devastated about the other couple going home as they’ve been my favourites since Week 1. #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing “.

Strictly Spoiler leaked and viewers announce they 'won't be watching anymore'
Fans are threatening to boycott Strictly for good

“Not watching this **** anymore,” another viewer expressed their frustration. However, there was also plenty of praise for Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell on Twitter.

One user wrote: “Chris and Dianne’s Anything Goes Quickstep. Proper musical. Chris getting to show his footwork off in this, lovely and clean but the hold and topline are not so great,” reports Birmingham Live.

A second said: “I like Chris but wish it was better. Glad of a proper song but not good enough in his upper body to get my vote.” One viewer expressed mixed feelings about Chris, appreciating the choice of song but criticising his performance.

Another fan heaped praise on JB Gill, commenting: “Lauren makes a practically perfect Mary Poppins. I really enjoyed that Viennese Waltz from her and JB. It was a joy to watch. I feel some 10’s incoming.”

Another suggestion came from a viewer who felt a break might be beneficial: “Popping back in the suggest that perhaps we should have a year or two off from the theme weeks as obviously all the good musical songs or movie week films have been done and maybe a nice fallow rest might reset the available selection to allow proper dancing to proper music to reassert its self again,” they proposed.

Meanwhile, last weeks results also swirled up a lot of attention after Eastenders star Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas were sent home, despite receiving high marks from the judges.

Fans again were outraged that Towie star Pete Wicks had remained in the competition, leading to the star taking to his own social media account to apologise.

Strictly will be back on BBC One this evening to air the results.
