AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI/Gray News) – The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information that leads to finding 14-year-old Stefanie Damron.

Stefanie has been missing since Sept. 24. Three days later, the FBI stepped in.

“Immediately after she was reported missing the FBI brought in our child abduction rapid deployment or CARD team,” said FBI Boston Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Kimberly Milka. “The CARD team is a group of highly trained and experienced subject matter experts on cases involving missing children.”

Police say they’ve conducted dozens of interviews and have searched near her home, across the country and into Canada.

Police say Stefanie did not take any electronic devices with her.

“There are tips from the public that maybe she had a social media friend at the time or an acquaintance,” said Lt. Darrin Crane, of the Maine State Police.

According to police, there were no concerns when it came to Stefanie’s mental health.

She is described as being a female approximately 5 feet tall and weighing 130 pounds.

She has brown hair and green eyes, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved blue shirt and Harley Davidson hiking boots.

Anyone with information can call Maine State Police Houlton Barracks at 1-800-824-2261 or 207-532-5400.
