I’m A Celebrity fans have all said the same thing following Alan Halsall’s amusing suggestion to Coleen Rooney.
As they conquered their Bushtucker Trial, Alan Halsall and Coleen Rooney scored an enviable full-house of stars for their campmates despite some initial miscommunications. The challenge, dubbed The Farmyard of Fear, involved Alan catching assorted items like offal and eggs on a neck-mounted tray before tipping them to Coleen who then transported them to be weighed.
Upon triumphantly completing the trial, they played a prank on their fellow campers, faking a mere 2-star success prior to unveiling the truth at dinner time.
Coleen cheekily requested Alan rate her acting skills, remarking: “I’ll do my best acting skills, you can mark me out of ten!” When they got back to camp, they feigned disappointment with award-deserving performances, prompting Alan to jestingly suggest: “I’ll be getting you a job in Coronation Street before you know it!”
Audiences were delighted by the notion, with many taking to social media demanding she be given a cameo on the famed soap. A fan enthusiastically suggested: “WAGATHA CHRISTIE TO WORK ALONG SIDE DS LISA SWAIN IN WEATHERFIELD POLICE STATION. As she replaces kit green and his incompetence the street is most definitely a lot safer with Wagatha joining the police team.”
One viewer praised Coleen’s acting chops, tweeting: “Coleen ain’t only a good detective she can also put on act, imagine if she went in corrie they’d never be another serial killer again #ImACeleb,” Another added their casting suggestion: “@ColeenRoo in @ITVCorrie is a genius idea. Long lost sister of Carla Connor! We need this to happen in the very near future. @ITV SORT IT IMMEDIATELY!”
During one of the trials, there was a mishap when Alan dropped the first bunch of undesirable items. After depositing them, he announced, “Stay there I’m gonna get some more,” but unfortunately, Coleen had already moved the wheelbarrow to the scale.
Unaware of Coleen’s whereabouts, Alan returned to the drop zone, resulting in the contents spilling onto the jungle floor. A bemused Dec commented: “What a waste,” while Ant emphasized the importance of “communication is key”.
In last night’s episode, Tulisa said her goodbyes as the third contestant to exit the show. Reflecting on her experience, she said: “You’re just going to be more grateful for everything. The food you eat, the people that you love… you don’t realise how good you’ve got it.”
