Kilmarnock supporters have bought into Festive Football for a Fiver after selling out their allocation at Easter Road.
Almost 1,500 Killie fans will be making the trip east to the capital as their side face Hibernian on Sunday, December 29 in the Premiership.
In just over 24 hours, supporters snapped up the bargain £5 tickets as Hibs looked to attract a bumper crowd for the potentially crucial match.
Kilmarnock have made an approach for more tickets in the South Stand but have acknowledged that is unlikely as Hibs supporters have also been taking advantage of the offer at the 20,000-capacity stadium.
It is the second time the Edinburgh side have run their Football for a Fiver initiative after 19,585 supporters took up the previous offer for a 0-0 draw against St Johnstone in March 2022.
A spokesperson for Kilmarnock said: “We can confirm that our allocation of 1,495 tickets for the clash against Hibernian at Easter Road on December 29 has sold out.
“We have requested additional tickets but, at present, it’s unlikely.”
Killie currently sit 10th in the Premiership, one point ahead of Hibs and three above Hearts in the relegation and play-off places at the bottom of the table.
