KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV/Gray News) – Police in Kansas City are investigating the death of a man found inside a donation bin on Thanksgiving.
An investigation has opened to find what caused the death of a man found in a Waldo donation bin on Thanksgiving evening.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that around 6:35 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, emergency crews were called to the area of 72nd and Wornall Road for a report of a person in the area needing medical aid.
When first responders arrived, they said they found an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The man was found partially inside a nearby donation bin.
Investigators noted that there does not appear to be any signs of foul play and no homicide investigation has been opened.
As of Sunday, the death remains under investigation.
Police say the Medical Examiner’s Office will make an official decision on the cause of death.
The person has not yet been identified.
