There’s no denying that Ugg boots are still a classic piece of footwear that has never totally gone out of style.
The brand’s Classic Ultra Mini Boots have earned a reputation among many who consider them a winter staple. However, if you can’t afford the £145 price-tag, we have spotted the perfect deal that will save over an impressive £100.
Fashion fans looking to make a bargain can check out the Faux Suede Faux Fur-Lined Chunky Boots on offer at New Look. Boasting a very similar design, the retailer’s “so comfy” boots are have been dropped from £27.99 to £20 – making them £125 cheaper than Uggs.

With similar features to the designer brand, it’s easy to see why shoppers have called the £20 boots “Ugg dupes” in reviews. Similar features include the ankle-length design, heel-pull tab and chunky ridged sole.
While Ugg boots are crafted from a real suede outer material and a sheepskin lining, New Look’s boots are made from a faux suedette material, with the plush inner lining being crafted from a faux-fur to keep your toes toasty warm.
Nevertheless, they still provide “all day comfort” thanks to heel-to-toe padding that cushion your feet. There’s also a flexible sole and thicker foam lining that make them more “comfortable” than Ugg boots, according to one shopper.
At the time of writing, the Faux Suede Faux-Fur Lined Chunky Boots were still available in shoe sizes three to nine. While the tan colour is reminiscent of the £145 boots, there are four other colours available – black, brown leopard print, brown and burgundy.
New Look’s £20 boots have earned an impressive 4.6 rating from impressed shoppers, with many fans saying that they are “so comfortable” and “like wearing slippers”, while others have praised them for their similarity to Ugg’s for a fraction of the cost.
One review read: “Save yourself £100 and get these instead! I bought some of the slip on Uggs with a red trim and took them back because they weren’t comfortable. Decided to get these boots instead for autumn/winter and they are so comfortable and fluffy and warm.”

A second shopper said: Ugg dupes! This shoe is extremely comfortable with a nice fur in the inside to make your feet warm. It is very true to size and is long lasting. 100 percent recommended this product!”
Someone else praised: “So comfortable and like another very well know brand for a fraction of the cost! Well made and the print is perfect.”
Another shopper penned: “I went up a size in these as have wide feet, they are so comfy, just like wearing slippers!”
Some shoppers have mentioned issues with the sizing and fit of the boots, as one three-star review read: “Comfortable and warm but do slip off back of foot when walking even though they feel a little small.”
