Thieves stole a bottle of whisky worth almost £40,000 during a break-in at a shop in Pitlochry.

House of Bruar, near the Falls of Bruar, was raided by robbers 4 and 5.10am on Saturday, November 23. A considerable number of high-value bottles of whisky were stolen, including a 54-year-old Highland Park, which retails for £39,000.

Police are now looking for anyone with any information to come forward. They are appealing to anyone who may have been asked to purchase bottles of whisky to contact them.
