AUSTIN, Texas — One person was hospitalized after a shooting early Wednesday morning in northeast Austin, according to responders.
The Austin Police Department (APD) said the incident happened just after midnight at the Azure Apartments & Townhomes, located near U.S. Hwy 290 and Cameron Road.
Police said the victim was transported to a hospital, but the severity of their injuries remain uncertain. The victim’s name or age has not been released, and a possible suspect has not yet been identified.
