The Havens at Princeton celebrates 25th anniversary

PRINCETON, W. Va. -An assisted living facility in Princeton is celebrating a milestone anniversary: 25 years of providing care to seniors. The Havens at Princeton was founded by the Princeton Memorial Foundation on December 2nd, 1999 and started with just six residents.

After a quarter of a century and changes in ownership, they now provide meals, transportation, a place to stay, and more to 41 residents, with the goal of letting them be as independent as possible. Their executive director, Tanya Gerber, credits their continued success to their home-like environment and staff who have worked there for many years.

“…a lot of tenure with our team, so it is like family, and, our residents, it’s like home, so, you know, they just become a part of our family, and I think that’s the key to the success is the home-like family feel that we provide for the people that live here,” says Gerber.

To celebrate the milestone, The Havens at Princeton will hold a floating reception on Thursday, December 5th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

If you would like more information on this facility or would like to request a tour, you can give them a call at 304-431-3544 or go to their website.
