(Gray News) – Bluetooth speakers have been recalled after more than 30 injuries have been reported.

According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall is for Anker Soundcore Bluetooth Speakers that were sold exclusively on Amazon in 2023.

There have been 33 reports involving the lithium-ion batteries in the speakers overheating and causing small fires and burns.

Only lithium-ion battery packs in Anker Soundcore Bluetooth Speakers with models A3102016, A3302011 and A3302031 are included in this recall.

The recalled speakers can be identified by the speaker’s SN code, which is on the underside of the Bluetooth speakers.

Anker and Amazon have contacted all known purchasers, but users can type the SN code on Anker’s website to see if their speaker is included in the recall.

The recalled speakers should no longer be used and should be turned off and not connected to a power source or charger.
