I’m A Celebrity viewers have noticed a change in GK Barry during the latest trial on the ITV show.
In last night’s episode, the celebs were given the chance to secure immunity from the next two vote-offs, ensuring their spot in the final four and the opportunity to participate in the Celebrity Cyclone trial.
The campmates were divided into two groups of four, each group competing in a head-to-head trial to collect tickets. The four celebs who gathered the most tickets will compete in Thursday night’s show for the immunity prize, the M.E.N reports.
Podcaster and Loose Women star GK Barry was the first to attempt the trial, alongside Coleen Rooney, Reverend Richard Coles and Danny Jones. The celebs had to retrieve coins from a container of fish guts that they then put into a claw machine to pick up balls containing tickets, all while being showered with bugs.
GK, whose real name is Grace, told Ant and Dec that she “would like to never do that again” at the end of the trial. However, fans at home noticed that GK, known for her loud screams during previous trials, remained very quiet as she tackled the task.
Some viewers wondered why the campmate stayed so calm during the trial, with some suggesting she was focused on winning the prize and others saying she had ‘forgotten’ to scream. Afterwards, GK confessed: “I didn’t even care about those cockroaches, I was shaking them off left right and centre.”

Fans flocked to social media to express their opinions. One viewer commented: “GK seems to have forgotten to continually scream.”
Another wrote: “Is this one of the quietest trials bar a few screams from GK? ” A third remarked: “GK Barry got stuck in on this trial to win a place in Celebrity Cyclone without screaming. Funny that eh”.
A fourth chimed in: “Never heard GK this quiet in the presence of bugs, home girl is focused.” Someone else echoed: “Funny someone who was screaming so much last night is barely screaming right now,” while someone else said: “At least Maura is consistent with her screaming. GK screaming disappeared.”
At the episode’s conclusion, Ant and Dec returned to camp to announce the trial winners. The hosts informed the campmates that Danny, Coleen, Maura Higgins, and Oti Mabuse had secured the most tickets and would compete in the ultimate challenge for immunity.
