I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec are gearing up to deliver a bombshell to the campmates in tonight’s episode (December 5), revealing that two stars of the show will be bowing out of the jungle.

According to reports ITV have confirmed that two celebrities will make their departure this evening. The double eviction will likely take the contestants by surprise as they wouldn’t have seen it coming – especially as they inch closer to the much-anticipated Sunday night finale.

This recent development is yet another unexpected turn for the celebs following the latest instalment of the show, during which the eight remaining contenders battled it out for immunity challenge where ultimately only one can come out on top.

The competitors were divided into groups, with the top two from each group set to duel in Thursday’s trial. This face-off will determine who secures the “golden ticket”, steering clear of the upcoming two eliminations and booking a direct spot in the iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial.

Coleen, Danny, Maura, and Oti emerged victorious in the trials, pitting them against each other tonight as they vie for the sought-after honour, reports the Express.

A teaser for this evening’s episode showcases the four of them clashing in an intense contest, all vying for the Ticket to Cyclone, the ultimate key to advancing further in the competition.

Whoever happens to leave tonight will join those who’ve already departed the camp. Jane Moore from Loose Women was the first to go, followed closely by radio host Dean McCullough.

Third to wave goodbye was N-Dubz singer Tulisa, and comedian Melvin Odoom trailed as the fourth to bid farewell. Last night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! didn’t see any campmates leaving, which surely gave the stars a ‘false’ sense of security before Ant and Dec step in to deliver tonight’s shocker.

The twist of a double eviction arrives as there’s a shake-up in the favourites to win. McFly’s Danny Jones, who has been leading the odds, has been overtaken by Coleen Rooney for the first time since the series began.

Ladbrokes now have Coleen as the hot favourite at just 10/11 to take the title of Queen of the Jungle, with Danny Jones slipping to 11/10 in the betting stakes. Meanwhile, Richard Coles has seen his odds worsen, now sitting at a distant 16/1 after previously being a strong contender, and all other contestants are listed at 20/1 or more.

Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati commented: “Coleen is peaking at the perfect time in the I’m A Celeb betting, and for the first time since the series started, Danny is no longer favourite to go all the way.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
