Perth and Kinross will see heavy rainfall as Storm Darragh gets set to batter the country.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning in place from 3pm on Friday until 12pm on Saturday and it’s expected to bring some transport disruption from late Friday through until Saturday morning.
A Met Office forecaster said: “Storm Darragh moving across the country will bring rain, turning wintry above 300-400m. Rainfall of 20-30mm is expected widely and as much as 50-60mm over the higher ground of the south and southwest.
“As it is falling onto saturated ground may lead to some local flooding and transport disruption.”
Spray and flooding on roads could make journey times longer, bus and train services could be hit and power supplies could also be affected, with localised flooding in some locations.
